Description of the DM-1

Designed with the business user in mind, the Olympus DM1 is a digital voice recorder with great features for when you work and an MP3 player with great features for when you don't.

Easy to use and even easier to carry, the DM-1 lets you download or listen to over one hour of MP3 or WMA (Windows Media Audio) music files using the included 64MB SmartMedia^TM card and features a built-in WOW^TM sound system (the first MP3 player in the world to do so) so you can enjoy them in high-quality, clear three-dimensional sound.

When business calls, you can record up to 22 hours of dictation using the 64MB card and quickly download your speech files to a PC using the included USB cable. During recording, you have the option to record either in SP mode for text-to-speech applications or LP mode for when you require longer amounts of time, and a convenient LCD display keeps you informed of important information such as recording time remaining, the date and time, and battery status.
