Description

The new DM-4 recorder is the perfect tool for students and professionals to capture audio files and keep them organized. The device also are ideal for personal time when playing music, podcasts and audio books. Text to speech, voice recognition and DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System) compatibility of the DM-4 makes it a great tool for the blind and dyslexic community as well.

The DM4 delivers everything you expect from an Olympus audio recorder, and then some. With its incredible 8GB of internal memory, it supports over 2,000 hours of recording and allows plenty of storage for your favorite songs. It also supports Daisy (Digital Accessible Information System) -- specialty software that converts textbooks into speech for the blind and dyslexic. With the new Visual Index feature and 2.2” full-color LCD screen, the DM-4 takes recording to a whole new level.

Recording Hours
Supports over 2,000 hours of recording with 8GB internal memory. Also supports removable microSD media up to 16GB.
Multiple Recording Formats
Enables high quality recording, no additional software required. Records in MP3, PCM and WMA formats; plays back in MP3, PCM, WMA and Audible file formats.

Full Color Screen
The bright 2.2" color screen enables clear, easy navigation of menus and files. And when using the DM-4 as a music player you have the ability to see the album cover and artist name.
Battery Charge Function
Charges the battery while connected to your PC or plugged in the AC Adapter (included). Long 20-hour battery life with lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
Visual Index Function
Download images to be used as your wallpaper, view color images, or link images to your recorded audio files to create a visual index.
Voice Guidance
The DM-4 feature a voice confirmation function that can be turned on or off. When turned on, the function enables the devices to speak, helping users to navigate the folders and various set-up options
